I am always looking for new and fun things for Owen to experience. I found a great recipe for DYI sidewalk chalk paint on Pinterest. I had to try it. I know what you are thinking this sounds like a summer activity. Lucky for us we live in San Diego. where even in December we can play outside with shorts and a t-shirt on. Owen had a lot fun painting on the ground and mixing all the colors together. I have to say that I had fun too. Clean up was very easy. What a great activity. This will go on the list of will do again!!! You only need a couple of things; Water, cornstarch, food coloring, something to mix it in, a paint brush. Mix the water and cornstarch to make a paste and a couple of drops of food coloring ( not to much you dont want to dye the sidewalk. And then have fun!!!
